On Sunday 25 October 2026, mainland Spain puts its clocks back from 03:00 to 02:00. In the Canary Islands, 02:00 becomes 01:00.
What changes on the clock
The adjustment occurs during the night from Saturday 24 to Sunday 25 October. Moving back one hour repeats a stretch of the local clock. A Madrid appointment at 02:30 can therefore represent two different instants; specify the first or second occurrence.
What changes for an international meeting
If you keep 18:00 in Madrid, the meeting on Monday 26 October appears at 11:00 in Mexico City, 12:00 in Bogotá and Lima, and 14:00 in Buenos Aires. Those are conversions for named cities, not one time for an entire continent.
Saving a reminder
The reminder represents the instant of Spain’s clock change. It does not adjust your device. For an actual meeting, the converter creates one independent 60-minute event that you can review in your calendar.
What to check before Sunday
Confirm your calendar’s local time zone and inspect the next occurrence of repeating invitations. Agree which city keeps its local time. When an existing invitation already contains the correct zone, check how others see it before editing the start manually.
